Nature’s Playground

Once again, inspiration from the mind of my 3yr old boy. “Look pāpā, they look like that whirly twirl thing Grandma got me”.

Pōneke locals might recognise this as Mākara, the site of over 60 wind turbines that look out over the beach.

This artwork sets out to remind us there are always alternative perspectives and imagination should be nurtured and carried through to adulthood.
