Paper Cranes
A break from the free flowing and sweeping lines that have featured in much of my recent work.
Re-creating the riverbank was an exercise in painstaking detail. Close to 50 hours and 30+ layers were used in creating the dense bush on the far side of the river.
Paper Cranes is a playful celebration of a fun day at the awa with my little boy. Nothing but nature and imagination to guide us.
